Work Experience

Lab Assistant Co-op

Solaires Enterprises Inc.

September 2024 - August 2025 | Victoria, BC

Recommended by the HR manager as a top student hire at Solaires, where I quickly made significant contributions, earning the Rising Star award from the CEO for my exceptional work and growth within the company. Among my key achievements, I developed a PCB-integrated encapsulation system using FR4 and aluminum-core materials with embedded push connectors, which eliminated glass breakage and ensured 100% contact reliability in damp heat testing (85°C/85% RH). I also pioneered a cold-lamination process using PIB film, achieving bubble-free coverage on 10x15 cm² modules and reducing lamination defects by 95%. Leading IEC 63163 compliance testing, I successfully met degradation thresholds of ≤25% for perovskite solar modules under Thermal Cycling, Humidity Freeze, and Damp Heat conditions. Additionally, I architected accelerated aging protocols that confirmed the intrinsic stability of perovskite, demonstrating a 1,000-hour shelf life and 500-hour stability at 85°C while isolating contact and material failure modes. Finally, I led the design of a circular perovskite module (Haila), creating aesthetic prototypes for the 2025 SDTC expo and securing patentable push-connector IP.

Bagging Plant Operator

Raymont Logistics Ltd.

September 2022 - January 2023 | Prince Rupert, BC

I ensured the smooth unloading of resin pellets by managing vacuum systems, connecting hoses, and maintaining operational requirements. I handled packaging supplies, reset and programmed machines, and conducted quality inspections. Additionally, I operated various machinery and tools, performed troubleshooting, and documented processes efficiently.

Cargo Sampler Co-op

Certispec Services Inc.

May 2022 - August 2022 | Prince Rupert, BC

I operated conveyor belts and large machinery for coal ship loading. I ensured quality control and accurate sampling of coal cargo, inspected automated sampling plants, and recorded information on standard forms. I assisted in the preparation and distribution of samples to laboratories and conducted a report on improving efficiency in dealing with metal detected in conveyor belts.

Projects

Please find a sample of projects that I have worked on over the past few years. This section is currently a work-in-progress as I continue to add projects.

Model Rocket

During the Fall Semester of 2020, I took initiative to enhance my SolidWorks skills by designing a model rocket. Here are some snapshots of the rendered design.
